Thomas W. Young

Tom has a varied background as a professional speaker, published author, life coach, entrepreneur and financial professional. Tom has lectured and presented to many corporations, colleges and universities, social groups, and non-profit organizations.  Most recently, The First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association (FCSLA) invited Tom to be the keynote speaker at the Annual National Leaders Conference.

Tom wrote and published his first book "Life Insurance will it pay when I die?"  in 2005.  He expects his next book, "The CFO Project At Home" to be published by Fall 2018. Tom is also a radio personality on 1230/1460 WBVP/WMBA in Beaver Falls, PA on his radio show called "The Financial Coach".

As a Life Coach and Human Behavior Consultant, Tom has trained and coached individuals on developing the skills and mindset to cope with the challenges of life.

Tom started in the financial services industry in 1976, and is the founder and President of 1st Consultants, Inc., Thomas W. Young and Associates, Inc.  and Financial Curves, Inc.

Tom has also earned several professional designations such as Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Registered Financial Consultant (RFC), and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA).

 Tom has been chosen by the Beaver Valley Chamber of Commerce as 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year. He was honored at the annual banquet in October.
